Chimezie Imo

Chimezie Imo is a Nigerian film and television actor. He featured in films and TV series such as Kasala! (2018), Shuga (2009), Kasanova (2019), Eyimofe (2020), The Blood Covenant (2022), Otiti (2022) and many others. He was nominated for Best Actor at the Future Awards Africa and Most Promising Young Actor at the Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) for his role as a drug-addled teenager in Nimbe: The Movie (2019). His recent turn as a sickle cell patient in Choke (2022) earned him rave reviews and a nomination at the Africa Movie Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA). He will be next seen in leading roles in both his feature film-producing debut in the rom-com Strawberry Chinny (2024) as Ifeanyi, and in the much-anticipated Prime Video's first commissioned Nigerian film, "Breath of Life" as Elijah
