Biography

Nika Balina is an actress living in Los Angeles. She studied at the University of Theater Arts for four years and played in the theater for one year. She shot 31 television shows and movies for major television networks, before moving to Los Angeles, including comedies, dramas and crime stories.

Also, Nika created and hosted two seasons of a comedy cooking television show "Restaurant's Spice".

Since her arrival in Los Angeles, Nika has written, produced and starred in a leading role in a sitcom pilot called "Non American Dreamers", which won six awards at various American film festivals, and has been picked up by a production and distribution company "New Films International".

Living in Los Angeles, Nika has starred or been featured in 30 roles in comedies, dramas, thrillers and crime stories. She performed in a lead role in the film "Daemon", which received sixteen wins and seven nominations at diverse American film festivals. Nika also shot a leading role in the independent film "The Lost Films of Ko Chiaki", which was screened at three major comedy film festivals.

Nika is currently rehearsing the leading role in an upcoming film with twice Emmy nominated director-producer Ben Staley.

As far as activities, Nika snowboards, surfs, windsurfs, bikes, roller-blades, ice skates, plays basketball, tennis and various other sports.

She also speaks and acts in four different languages.
