Actor Rumi Khan, who was last seen in ‘Gadar 2’, has reunited with director Anil Sharma by joining the cast of the upcoming film ‘Journey’, which also stars Utkarsh Sharma and veteran actor Nana Patekar.

The film is directed by Anil Sharma.

In the film, Rumi will be seen essaying the role of a cop from Uttar Pradesh.

Talking about the film, Rumi said: “I’m excited to reunite with director Anil Sharma and his son Utkarsh Sharma after ‘Gadar 2’. It’s always a treat and pleasure to work under the guidance of Anil. Nawazuddin Siddiqui wraps up filming of crime thriller 'Section 108'

Mumbai, Feb 12 (Ians) Nawazuddin Siddiqui has wrapped up the shoot of his upcoming film ‘Section 108’ with a cake-cutting ceremony alongside the entire crew.

The film, with a stellar cast that includes Arbaaz Khan and Regina Cassandra, is helmed by Rasikh Khan and produced by Cinemawala Productions.

Nawazuddin plays an insurance claims lawyer, Tahoor Khan, brought in after a billionaire, essayed by Arbaaz, disappears. He is presumed to be dead by the court, but the insurance company required to pay the claims due to his family, believes it is a fraud. Cassandra will be seen in the role of Shikha Saxena, an executive of the insurance company.

Additional details of the plot are being kept under wraps. With filming now completed, post-production work is expected to commence soon.

The movie’s title is presumably inspired by Section 108 of the Indian Penal Code, which relates to the abetment of crime.

Mumbai, Aug 18 (Ians) Actor Rumi Khan, who was seen as a Pakistani army officer in ‘Gadar 2: The Katha Continues’, says Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel are the two pillars of the movie and he missed sharing screen with the actress.

The ‘Alibaba: Dastaan-e-Kabul’ actor said: “I played an antagonist and shared a very good screen time in the movie. People are appreciating my work. And I’m happy that I got to work with Sunny Deol. We had a fight screen and that is actually loved by the audience.

“It was fun when people clapped for the scene in the cinema halls. When your friends call you and inform you about the same. You feel delighted. This was encouraging and I hope there’s no look back now.”

The actor, who was also seen in ‘Pathaan’, continued about missing the opportunity to share the screen with Ameesha Patel.
