His initial training was in drama at the "El Tinglado" theatre and from there he went on to studying filmmaking at the Escuela de Cine del Uruguay from where he graduated in 2014. He also wrote more than 10 short fiction films. He lives in Montevideo where he is a freelance filmmaker. He also works as producer and director of video clips, advertising, fashion films, among other contents. "El Sereno" (2017) is his debut feature, co-directed with Oscar Estévez.
He is an executive producer and co-founder of Anfibia Cine, a film production company where he is developing his next feature film fiction projects as a scriptwriter and director.
