Cambodian-born surgeon turned mob cleaner Thony De La Rosa (Élodie Yung) has rarely met anyone she couldn’t outsmart. But this season, Thony may have met her match in Ramona Sanchez. Posing as a philanthropist, Ramona is really the “dangerous and powerful head of the Vegas-based Sin Cara cartel,” says del Castillo. Thony contacted Ramona, the aunt of the missing Arman (the late Adan Canto), Thony’s protector and close friend, when he disappeared. Now, “Ramona wants to keep her around,” the Mexican American actress notes. “She has skills that are useful to Ramona, while Ramona has connections that can help reunite Thony’s family”—like Thony’s deported Filipina sister-in-law, Fiona (Martha Millan). “There’s an underlying level of respect between the women,” del Castillo adds. But that could change this week as Thony disobeys Ramona when aiding a woman in need of medical assistance. Ultimately, Ramona seeks revenge with her nephew’s abductors.

While speaking with Deadline ahead of Tuesday’s episode, star Elodie Yung said that she is not doing anything on set, not once, without Adan in mind.”

Yung starred alongside Canto in the first two seasons of The Cleaning Lady. She wasn’t able to give many details about how the story may have changed in the wake of Cantos’ death, only that she hopes audiences will feel like they honored his character.

The actor has been added to the Season 3 cast of Fox’s The Cleaning Lady, Deadline reports. He will portray Dante, Ramona’s (Kate del Castillo) trusted lieutenant described as “intense and authoritative with a dangerous edge.” Focused on protecting the business, Dante “grows increasingly aggravated with Thony (Élodie Yung), who constantly undermines their operations.”

Emmy-winning actor Brad Garrett (Single Parents, Everybody Loves Raymond) will join Gina Rodriguez as a series regular in Season 2 of the ABC comedy Not Dead Yet, which premieres Wednesday, Feb. 7 at 8:30 pm, Deadline reports.

The newcomers will make their debuts as siblings Ramona Sanchez and Jorge Sanchez when The Cleaning Lady returns for season three on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at 8pm Et/Pt.

Cabrera and del Castillo join a cast that’s led by Élodie Yung as Thony De La Rosa. The series also stars Adan Canto, Martha Millan, Sebastien Lasalle, Valentino Lasalle, Sean Lew, Faith Bryant, and Eva De Dominici.
