Julian Armaya is an American singer, actor and dancer. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Julian danced professionally throughout the East Coast before moving to Los Angeles.

In 2014, Julian was cast in the role of Piragua in the award winning, Orange County premiere, of Lin-Manuel Miranda's In The Heights, at the Chance Theater.

That October he joined the band Cuñao to pay tribute to one of his musical idols, Juan Gabriel, at Los Angeles' famed annual Dia De Los Muertos Festival, at Hollywood Forever Cemetery.

In the summer of 2017 he sang the National Anthem at Dodger Stadium with Dot Marie Jones and the Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles (GMCLA). He then joined the Los Angeles Opera for their production of The Pearl Fishers, conducted by Maestro Placido Domingo. That November, along with GMCLA, he sang for the Leonard Bernstein Centennial Celebration, under the baton of Maestro John Mauceri.

2018 brought opportunities to perform with Melissa Etheridge at the Women's March, Coro Gay Ciudad De Mexico, Demi Lovato, the American Ballet Theatre, and at The Pasadena Playhouse in the Jason Alexander directed production of Native Gardens. He closed the year out singing a solo, accompanying Gloria Trevi, to a sold out audience at The Forum in Los Angeles.

In 2019 he performed at Carnegie Hall with Gay Choruses from around the country to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall uprising, as well as, the 40th Anniversary of the GMCLA and the New York City Gay Men's Chorus.

Julian has been featured in advertising campaigns for Honda, The Dodgers, McDonalds, Neighborly, and The Gap. He has also appeared on The Mindy Project, Conan, Humor Me and the YouTube special Ken Jeong Cracks Christmas.
