Gemma Dart

Gemma Dart is an Australian-born actress of Italian and Irish background. She is best known for her roles as Joan in Ten Pound Poms (2023) and pop-star Avalon Bracken in Summer Bay (1988). She began acting in musical theatre when she was 7 years old, joining a community theatre society with her father and older sister. After a decade on stage, she studied for film at the National Institute of Dramatic Art. Although musical theatre is behind her, Gemma still pursues a musical outlet through producing and writing music for screen, as well as her own band.
