[This story contains major spoilers from the final season and series finale of Upload.]
“I remember texting Greg that I thought the scene between Nathan and Nora on the bench was one of the most beautiful things I had ever read,” Upload star Robbie Amell recalls of his initial reaction to discovering half of his character’s fate. “I thought it was so beautiful and real. I just loved those words, and that ended up being one of the final scenes that Andy [Allo] and I shot together.”
The scene Amell is describing is one of the final moments in the series shared by Nathan — a murdered coder who is digitally uploaded into a virtual beyond known as Lakeview — and Nora, the very alive customer service technician, otherwise known as an “angel,” who is paid to support him in his subscription-based afterlife.
In a shocking twist, the fourth and final season of Greg Daniels’ Prime Video sci-fi comedy kills one of those two Nathans permanently.

At the risk of appearing as slothful as I actually am, MHz Choice is releasing two more episodes of this light French crime drama, “Under Law and Grace” (“Priere d’enquetere”) that I reviewed in May, 2023. Since the cast, setting and premise for these 90-minute tele-films is essentially the same as in the first four, here’s the link to that prior review: https://www.wearemoviegeeks.com/2023/05/298580/
If you’re still with me, thanks for indulging my desire not to rewrite the previous copy. As slowly and erratically as I type, redoing all of that would be quite onerous. (I’ve already revised the preceding sentences several times.)
So, these two outings pick up shortly after the first four. Clement is still a novitiate in the order and an official consultant for the police,...

The Acolyte: Are Mae and Osha Really Twins? What the Finale Revealed to Fans - Main Image
Are Mae and Osha really twins in The Acolyte? Considering the odd nature of their birth, the series seems to be hinting at something else entirely, in connection to the witches' coven and how the planet Brendok functioned. Here's what the finale revealed.
Spoiler Warning: This article contains spoilers for The Acolyte finale, so proceed with caution.
What The Acolyte Flashbacks Unveiled About the Twins
The origins of the twin sisters, Mae and Osha, had long been teased since The Acolyte episode 3 titled Destiny, but the finale pretty much sums up what fans have been suspicious about all along.
Initially, Mother Aniseya revealed that the twins were not created through the traditional means of a present mother and father. Both Aniseya and Koril were the "mothers" of the twins.
Episode 7 titled Choice painted the whole picture that,...

Jedi's emotional vulnerabilities come to light in The Acolyte episode 7. Torbin's struggle with homesickness reveals the Jedi Padawans' turmoil. The Acolyte explores the inevitable nature of attachment among Jedi, showcasing the complexity of emotional struggles in the High Republic era.
Star Wars: The Acolyte episode 7 proves that one of the Jedis biggest weaknesses can rear its head at the most inopportune moments. As Star Wars: The Acolyte takes place during the High Republic era, the audience gets to see a different side of the Jedi. Though the Order was arguably at the height of its strength during this era they were over 10,000 strong and scattered all across the galaxy the Jedi still suffered from certain emotional vulnerabilities, both on an individual level and on an organizational level.

The following contains spoilers for The Acolyte episode 7, "Choice."
Finally, some answers. After much speculation on what happened to Mother Aniseya's coven on Brendok 16 years ago, The Acolyte Episode 7, "Choice" sheds light on that fateful night and why the Jedi covered it up. But more damningly, "Choice" frames those events as a Rashomon-inspired tragedy of errors. It reinterprets what viewers saw in "Destiny" from Master Indara's team's perspective and how their actions, regardless of intention, made things worse. This is especially true for Sol who, via this episode's revelations, has become the unwitting villain of The Acolyte's story by embodying the best and worst of the Jedi Order.
With Kogonada returning as director and writing duties split between Charmaine DeGrat, Jen Richards, and Jasmyne Flournoy, "Choice" leans hard into the consequences of rushing into a situation one knows little about. Per their code, the Jedi must protect the innocent and right the wrongs.

Netflix added The Choice, a romantic drama adapted from the Nicholas Sparks novel of the same name, to its streaming library in June 2023, and some people who didn't catch the movie when it first premiered in 2016 are watching it now and wondering where it was filmed. The film revolves around Travis Shaw, played by Benjamin Walker, and Gabby Holland, played by Teresa Palmer, and their tumultuous romance. The two first meet at the beginning of The Choice when Gabby moves into the house next door to Travis.
However, the movie begins with Travis visiting someone (who viewers later find out is Gabby) at the hospital before flashing back to seven years earlier when Travis hosts a loud party at his house, angering Gabby since she was trying to study. Although they get off to a rocky start, Travis and Gabby soon begin a romantic relationship while she is still dating Ryan McCarthy.

The Nicholas Sparks movie The Choice features one of the bestselling author's most intense storylines to date in which Travis (Benjamin Walker) must choose to take his wife Gabby (Teresa Palmer) off life support when she is in a coma. Released in 2016, The Choice is the most recent novel by Sparks to be adapted into a movie. There are multiple cheesy and romantic storylines in Sparks adaptations that use medical plot devices to keep a couple apart or bring them closer together. The Choice stands out because the main character is given the responsibility of making medical decisions about their loved one instead of being helpless.
Like the best Sparks movies, the first half of The Choice follows Gabby and Travis falling in love. After marrying and having children together, Gabby is in a car accident. This results in her falling into a coma for an extended period of time.
