Paul Noah Braaten grew up on a farm in Central Alberta and Played Hockey all His life, eventually suiting up for the Long Beach Ice Dogs in the California Based Pro Hockey Division of the ECHL. He had stops in Germany, Czech. Republic, Texas, Michigan, Idaho, Quebec and in the WHL/BCHL as well. After retiring from Pro Hockey, Braaten landed a stunt role in Kurt Russell's hockey movie titled 'Miracle'. Braaten went to the University of New Brunswick (2007-2009) and gained a University Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Processes while continuing to work within the Oil Pipeline Construction world from 2005- Current day. He has three sons named Paul Jr. , Noah and Eli.

Braaten was a stunt man in the hockey movie "miracle" in 2003 and took a big hit in the opening of the film. They shot the scene eight times and Braaten suffered a concussion. The director gave him a stunt credit which paid him 8,000 for the scene. Braaten is just finishing up a script titled "the pipeline mafia" which stars a collection of pipeliners making big money and living on the road. The crew suffers many setbacks and many triumphs during the course of the pipeline season.
