Dreah Marie is an American actress born in Houston, Texas and comes from a multi-ethnic background. Both her paternal and maternal ancestry share European (French, Italian, Scottish, Irish) Native American (Cherokee, Iroquois) and Asian roots. Dreah began her career in the industry with modeling and commercial work while in college. She had a brief break from the industry while pursuing the safe parent approved career of becoming a medical doctor, however she returned to her first love of acting after completing medical school.

Upon returning to her hometown, Dreah landed her first lead role in the feature film, Veda, as Marla Ramirez playing the role of a quadriplegic. The role in Veda opened many doors for her as she was nominated in the film festival circuits for best lead role in a feature film. Veda won the People's Choice Award at the Trail Dance Festival in 2016.

Shortly after her work on Veda, Dreah embarked on her goals of being in television shows and landed her first television role in 2016 as Britney Weaver, a recurring role on OWN's award-winning television show, Greenleaf. This role earned her an additional recurring role on Showtime's television show, Homeland, and other noted roles on S.W.A.T., Tyler Perry's, The Have and The Have Nots, FOX's 24 Legacy and much more.

Dreah enjoys working in front of the camera and is taking some opportunities behind the camera. These opportunities will open doors in the creative faith-based space. Being strong in her faith; Dreah is happy to join creative organizations that promote family friendly productions.

Dreah is proud to be a SAG AFTRA member and has been elected to serve on her local board in two positions ensuring the rights of her fellow members are being enforced and allowing opportunities for everyone to be represented.
