Anke Sabrina Beermann

Anke Sabrina Beermann is an actress and producer based in Germany and the UK. She holds a doctoral degree in veterinary medicine and studied acting in Munich and at the Ivana Chubbuck Studio in Los Angeles. She worked as an actress on several TV and Film productions before making her way to producing her own work. For her strong performances she was selected as a Cannes Talent at the Cannes Filmfestival 2018. In 2019 she founded her production company Mary Productions in London. In 2024 she established M&H Productions in Frankfurt Main. The same year, she gained her doctoral title from the University of Bern. Her work has been screened at Bafta- and Oscar-qualifying festivals. Anke is interested in critical political and social stories which force the audience to think about their own lives and habits and the environment they live in.
