While all the characters in Cobra Kai showcase tremendous karate skills, the actors who play them aren’t all proficient in the martial art, or any martial art, for that matter. Some of them, however, do have extensive training in real life. Thomas Ian Griffith, for example, who plays Terry Silver, has been studying karate since he was in high school and has amassed more than 40 years of training. Sean Kenan, who plays Mike Barnes, was initially hired for The Karate Kid III because he already had karate experience.

What about the younger, new cast members? Some of them have dabbled in martial arts prior to receiving training for this series. In the latest and final sixth season of the series, one actor who has real-life martial arts experience is Rayna Vallandingham, who plays the fierce Iron Dragons student and social influencer Zara Malik.

The end of an era is arriving, as Cobra Kai is wrapping up early next year. Netflix has just shared a new sneak peek at the third and final portion of episodes for Season 6, and it includes the announcement of a premiere date.

As noted in the video, Cobra Kai Season 6, Part 3 will premiere on Netflix on Feb. 13, 2025. "Four decades of history all leading to this moment," declares a voiceover heard in the announcement trailer. Also heard is the phrase, "This may be the end, but Cobra Kai never dies." A brief look at the show's final battles is put on display in the preview, which can be watched below.

Cobra Kai creator Jon Hurwitz has an exceptional update about a potential spin-off. The show, which was a sequel to the Karate Kid franchise, is coming to an end with the upcoming Cobra Kai season 6, part 3. A sequel movie, Karate Kid: Legends, is already in development. It will follow Daniel Larusso (Ralph Macchio) working with Mr. Han (Jackie Chan) to help train the young Li Fong (Ben Wang), and it will be released on May 30, 2025. While it does mean a future for many characters from the franchise, some remain in limbo.

In a post on his official Twitter account, Hurwitz announced that he is "actively working" on a potential spin-off. While he did not officially state that there would be a follow-up show, he did emphasize that he has high hopes for the project. Check out his post below:

The fifth season of The Chosen is coming to theaters this spring. The episodes cover the days leading up to the arrest of Jesus Christ and the Last Supper. The season will be made available via stream next year and will likely arrive on The CW in the fall.

Angel Studios released The Chosen in 2017, and it has been a hit ever since, meaning that multiple spinoffs and shows are in the works. Typically, when a series is a success, one spinoff is ordered. If its achievements continue, then the universe of said series can keep on expanding. However, for The Chosen, five spinoffs were announced at once, meaning that fans of the Christian historical drama have a lot to look forward to in the coming years. There doesn't seem to be any need to worry that The Chosen will be cancelled on The CW, at least for a while. Three seasons of the show have already been produced, the fourth season is in the works, and the network appears to be committed to airing them.
