Soren James

Søren James is a writer/director. Known for Melrose (2020) Therapy (2021) and Hard Light (2022) he produced and directed his first feature when he was just 21 years old. At age 27 he was accepted into the AFI American Film Institute as a Directing Fellow (Class of 2024) Hailing from Burbank, California, born in Montrose, to Eric & Lorey Persing, with two siblings, Jaz, known for Good Girls Revolt (2015) & Sneaky Pete (2015), and Sage, a cartoonist and satirist. Melrose (2020) received good notices, screened at Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival, received awards at The Culver City International Film Festival and soon was acquired by Gravitas Ventures in for worldwide distribution, and released on online platforms on April 20th, 2020. He resides in Los Feliz.
