Stefan Sretic was born on May 13, 1993 in Nis. Finished primary and secondary music school in his home town in the class of Professor Suzana Novakovic. At the age of 17 enrolls at the Faculty of Arts in Nis for the basic academic studies in the class of renowned pedagogue and pianist, Professor Aleksandar Serdar, where he first obtained a BA, and later, an MA in piano in 2015.

He has received numerous rewards at Republic-based and International competitions performing in the discipline piano-solo, among which stand out the following:
  • I prize at the Republic competitions in Belgrade in 2001 (100 points), 2003, 2005 (100 points, Laureate), 2009;
  • I prize at the International competitions in Nis in 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008 (Laureate);
  • I prize, 100 points and Laureate at the International competition "Gradus ad Parnassum" in Kragujevac in 2005.
Achieved significant results in the field of chamber music.

Participated at the Master Class seminars lead by Professor Svetlana Korunovic and Professor Boris Kraljevic.

In 2005 played at a concert at Kolarac as a Laureate of the Republic competition. In 2006 performs at the First Royal concert at Beli Dvor (The White Palace) where he receives the diploma for art achievements and displayed music talent. In 2008 he performed at concerts in Macedonia (Bitolj, Stip, Skoplje). In 2014 played at the 40th jubilee of NIMUS (Nis Music Festival).

He cooperated with renowned conductors from Nis, Ivana Mirovic, Vladan Karadzov, Zoran Stanisavljevic, Milena Injac and Miroslav Ivankovic. With the Nis Symphony Orchestra he performed at the Pedagogue concerts in 2008 and afterwards, at the opening of the concert season 2015/2016 performing the Piano Concerto no. 2 in C-minor by Sergei Rachmaninoff.

He composed music for three short movies: "Otkucaji tisine", 2015 ("Beats of Silence"), directed by Marko Dzambic and "Mozaik", 2014 ("Mosaic") and "Po suncu hoda", 2016 directed by Stefan Krasic. He also composed a piece called "Secanje" ("Memory") from the album "Nebesko je uvek i doveka" ("The Heavenly is Always and Eternal") by Bojana and Nikola Pekovic published by PGP/RTS, which was afterwards performed in Sava Centar in Belgrade.

He was a multi-year scholarship winner of the City of Nis as a student of Primary and Secondary Music School. He received a financial award from the "Sveta Petka" foundation for achieved results in national and international competitions in 2007. In the same year he receives the ART Foundation and Tobacco Industry of Nis scholarship. He received the financial award from the City of Nis as the best student in 2013 at the Faculty of Arts in Nis, University of Nis for exceptional success during the studies. He received the Dositeja scholarship for best students in 2014 and 2015 awarded by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Republic of Serbia. At the moment, he is attending the Specialist academic studies at the Faculty of Music Arts in Belgrade in the same class.
