Lars Garpe-Hallø

Born May 12th in Copenhagen Denmark, at the age of 14 he began playing guitar and making music on his Amiga 500, in some years to come, he played in many different bands, Pink Floyd jam, metal band and much more. In 1997 he started along with a second guitarist the band Zeleptor, and from here it did not take long for a contract with a record label to come. In 1999 came the first CD on the street, under the name Duality. Life as a musician was not the dream he had, so in 2001 he decided to leave the band and moved to Norway. After he left the band, Dulity, dissolved, and so he started the band "Duality By Prone" which is a network based band without permanent members. So the music style of Duality still live on and is still possible to find on streaming services worldwide.

Lars has earlier starred in theater and film in Denmark, he had several roles in the play "Melodien der blev væk" (The melody was away) and the theatrical version of "The Wall" by Roger Waters and some small film roles, but acting has never been what he would like to do besides small rolls. But when he was offered a job at a television station he immediately said yes, and worked as a cameraman and editor for several years, has also made several television programs himself. This desire has lasted, and he has since made private programs that can be found on Youtube. The last documentary film he made was "Zeleptor A 1999 film about the band Duality".

In 2002 he founded together with other a website Nasse.dk a page for "Self promotion band in Skandinavia" he then helped to operate for many years. The site was meant to do something about the record companies and their power over what music to be published, and get musicians to self-publish their music. The idea is successful and today it easy and simple to publish music them self.
