Mikey Madison is stepping out for the night in Tokyo!

The 26-year-old Oscar-winning actress posed for photos on the blue carpet as she arrived at the Tiffany & Co. Ginza flagship store opening on Thursday evening (July 10) in Tokyo, Japan.

For the event, Mikey looked chic in a cream-colored dress while wearing diamond and emerald jewelry.

Pharrell Williams was also in attendance while Anderson .Paak performed during the party.

Back in May, it was announced that Mikey will be starring alongside Kirsten Dunst in the new thriller movie Reptilia. The movie marks Mikey‘s first role since winning the Oscar for Anora earlier this year.

FX is getting into the moving business, by way of its latest development project.

The Disney-owned outlet has ordered a pilot for Movers, a comedy from Reno 911! veterans Robert Ben Garant and Cathy Shim and 20th Television. The married couple will also star in the project, which is described as an improvised show about the erratic and codependent lives of a crew of movers.

The cast also includes Rebecca Quin (aka WWE star Becky Lynch), Maz Jobrani (Superior Donuts), Darius Homayoun (Tehran), Tanael Joachim and Manny Montana (Ironheart, Good Girls).

Movers is the second comedy project FX has taken on in the past few weeks. It’s also developing Very Young Frankenstein, which is inspired by Mel Brooks’ 1974 classic Young Frankenstein.

FX has picked up the comedy pilot “Movers” from a team of “Reno 911” alums, Variety has learned.

The improvised workplace comedy is said to revolve around “the erratic and codependent lives of a crew of movers.” The husband and wife team of Robert Ben Garant and Cathy Shim are the stars, co-creators, and executive producers of the pilot.

In addition, the pilot has set five cast members. Those are: Rebecca Quin (a.k.a Becky Lynch of WWE fame), Maz Jobrani, Darius Homayoun, Tanael Joachim, and Manny Montana.

“Reno 911” executive producers Stacey Sher and Peter Principato are also executive producers on the pilot along with Jonny Shipes. 20th Television is the studio.

Garant is repped by CAA, Artists First, and Jackoway Austen Tyerman. Shim is repped by Global Artists Agency and Jackoway Austen Tyerman. Jobrani is repped by CAA and Mainstay Entertainment. Homayoun is repped by Gersh. Joachim is repped by Artists First.

FX has picked up the new workplace comedy pilot Movers, from creators and executive producers Robert Ben Garant and Cathy Shim. Garant co-created Comedy Central’s Reno 911!, in which Shim also starred. Aura Entertainment has acquired Anderson .Paak’s directorial debut, K-Pops!, The Hollywood Reporter has exclusively learned.

The acquisition comes on the heels of the film’s U.S. premiere at 2025 Tribeca Festival; it premiered last year the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival. The Stampede Ventures and Live Nation Productions-produced movie stars .Paak, Jonnie “Dumbfoundead” Park, Yvette Nicole Brown, and .Paak’s real-life teen son, Soul Rasheed.

After multiple editing delays, Mariah Carey has finally dropped the music video for “Type Dangerous,” her first original solo song since 2019’s “In the Mix,” the theme song to the short-lived ABC sitcom Mixed-Ish. The video for the new single was directed by Joseph Kahn, who previously worked with Carey on her videos for 2003’s “Boy (I Need You)” and 2013’s “#Beautiful.”

Co-produced by Anderson Paak and based around a sample from Eric B. & Rakim’s debut single, “Eric B. Exclusive: Following the 2024 launch of The Darkness, the Icelandic series based on his Dimma novel series, author Ragnar Jónasson is expanding his partnership with Stampede Ventures and producer John-Paul Sarni via the launch of Dimma Pictures, a new venture to produce film and television projects from Jónasson’s catalogue of IP, as well as writers from across Scandinavia and Europe.

As of now, the company has several TV projects in motion. First up is a limited series adaptation of The Girl Who Died, Jónasson’s psychological thriller published in 2021. Set in the remote Icelandic village of Skálar, the story follows Una, a burned-out teacher from Reykjavik, who takes a job teaching two girls in the tiny village — though only one student appears. Isolated and unwelcome, Una is haunted by eerie dreams and strange singing at night. As tensions rise and tragedy strikes, she begins to suspect the village harbors dark...

When the 39-year-old musician appeared on a recent episode of Track Star, he correctly guessed that the song being played was Mariah‘s 1995 hit “Always Be My Baby.”

“This would be Mariah Carey. The Mariah Carey. I remember in like fifth grade or something, watching the music videos and having a huge crush,” he said before revealing that he was wearing a shirt with Mariah‘s face on it.

UTA has hired prominent hip hop booking agents Caroline Yim and Zach Iser as partners at the agency, the company announced Tuesday, with the two coming over after previously serving as co-heads of hip hop and R&b at WME.

The company didn’t disclose which clients, if any, would be moving over with Yim and Iser to UTA, though their clients have included Doechii, Jhene Aiko, Future and Anderson .Paak among others. It's been almost two years since Michelle Buteau's hilarious comedy series Survival of the Thickest graced Netflix with its amazing sense of humor back in July 2023. A comedy movie inspired by (and developed with) Green Day is being produced by Live Nation Productions.

Titled “New Years Rev,” the film is a coming-of-age story of three friends — played by Mason Thames, Kylr Coffman and Ryan Foust — who journey to Los Angeles, mistakenly believing that their band is opening for Green Day on New Year’s Eve.

Per the logline, “Their roadtrip is a rowdy and mischievous jaunt across the country filled with adventures, based on the exploits of Green Day and their years of living in a tour van.”

The film, written and directed by Lee Kirk, also stars “The Office” favorites Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey, alongside Ignacia Diaz-Silverado and Keen Ruffalo. Production is underway in Oklahoma.

The film, titled Golden, was slated to be released by Universal Pictures and features a cast which includes Kelvin Harrison Jr., Halle Bailey, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Brian Tyree Henry, Janelle Monáe, Missy Elliott, Quinta Brunson, Anderson .Paak, and Jaboukie Young-White. While it’s rare for a studio to scrap a movie at this stage of development, this isn’t like Warner Bros. shelving Batgirl and Coyote vs. Acme for tax purposes. Janelle Monáe condemned Nelly on Sunday for the singer’s Trump inauguration performance.

Monáe rapped her comments during a Grammy afterparty, a TMZ video showed Monday, where she sang a cover of Nelly’s “Hot in Herre.”

“F—k you Nelly,” Monáe says in the bleeped video. “I used to like Nelly but then he went to perform for Donald Trump,” she continued. “Nelly, you sold out. I used to think he was cool, but now you look like a motherf—ing fool.”

Per TMZ, the impromptu performance was part of a medley of songs Monáe sang with Anderson .Paak, who co-owns the West Hollywood bar where the party took place.
