Danyelle began performing at age 7 as a competitive twirler, gymnast and ballet dancer. She would later venture in front of the camera in print modeling, a number of commercials, voice work, film shorts and TV series. As a young girl, she was in awe of performers like Audrey Hepburn, Lola Falana, Bob Hope, Gene Kelly, Juliet Prowse and many others. Danyelle desired to dance like Gene, exude elegance like Audrey, bring grace like Lola, make people laugh like Bob and deliver marvelous leg extensions like Juliet. When they performed, everything else in existence disappeared. They made her want to do what they did. They moved her to action and ignited a feeling deep inside her body of sheer joy and happiness. Danyelle wanted to move audiences with her own performances and have that same passion and exhilaration thrive inside her soul. Danyelle has stepped into that passion and made her dreams come true. She is a director/producer/actor/writer/business woman/wife and Co - Creator of her two sons. Some of her acting credits: she's known as part of GR triad decision makers in "The Left Overs", the voice of sanity in "In Utero" and the sobering mother in "Broken Peace". Danyelle's love of creating continues to grow. Besides investing in the spiritual, mental and physical growth of herself and her two boys, with her main job as parent, she has been on a quest to empower overlooked talent. The quest is to have talent challenge the typical images that are seen on screen; encouraging performers to bust down stereotypes and helping to bring access, resources, knowledge and new avenues of employment to all talent in front and behind the lens. Danyelle doesn't shy away from a challenge. She feels it makes for a more exciting adventure. She is a breast cancer and social awareness advocate (social advocacy-in fields such as mental health, children and, domestic violence, economic and many more). She is excellent at parallel parking, dancing in roller skates (you know old school roller skates), and eating butter-dripping cinnamon rolls. She lives by, "Jesus is driving, I call shotgun". Ask her what it means.
