Joshua Teasley was born in Oakland, California and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. The young entertainer took his first acting class while attending the University of Missouri - Columbia. Teasley moved to Los Angeles after graduation to pursue his first passion - music - and funded his career through commercial acting jobs.
Teasley's debut EP Feeling Better featured hit track "Hit It" that reached over 1 million streams. The accompanying music video for "Hit It" was sponsored by Red Bull and reached the top 10 on MTV dance charts. In 2018, Teasley's single 'Way Back' jumped Calvin Harris & Dua Lipa to land onto UK Music Week's Top 20. The single peaked at #16 on the Pop/Club/Dance charts.
In 2022, Joshua Teasley starred in Hulu's first unscripted reality TV show, Back in the Groove.
