Aury Barnett is an actor, writer, director & musician based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He began his entertainment career shortly after he decided to make the jump from construction back to the arts and hasn't looked back since.
Starring in an elementary school play at 8 years old, Aury immediately felt the pull to perform. Growing up in a small town where hockey and sport takes precedence, he was unwilling to explore his love for performing as he felt it may lead to ridicule.
Aury would extend his training as a performer in high school drama class and even started a band the age for 15 which lead to creating a 4 song EP at 16 and competing in, and winning some, battle of the bands across southern Ontario. Unfortunately, due to some personal issues, Aury put his artist career on hiatus and began a decade long career in construction. But the fire was always present...
Mid 2012, an offer came through to Move to Toronto with an old friend, he had enough of not pursuing his passions and decided to take the opportunity...
It's been over 10 years now, and it's only just beginning.
