Jim Cannatelli was inspired to be a filmmaker at age 10 from watching Tim Burton's two Batman films. After going to Wilmington University graduating with a Bachelor's in Digital Filmmaking, he's collaborated with other filmmakers acting their films such as Clockout Film's 'Slaughter Beach,' Strange Films 'The Gifted' and Silent Shadow Productions 'Welcome Home.'
Outside of writing, directing and acting, Jim is a comic book artist publishing his own run of creator owned comic book series X Knight. To which has been produced into a short film 'X Knight' 2019 and a feature length award winning film 'X Knight Escape From Warp Hell' 2023.
2013 was the year of Jim creating his superhero comics X Knight, and proceeded to learn how to make his own comic by filming a documentary about comic book artists 'Inked: Art of the Living Corpse.' In 2015 X Knight has his first issue released and still continues on to this day.
