Trivia

  • In March 2016, she became the first cover model of the newly introduced no-nude version of Playboy.
  • McDaniel has an artificial blue BrightOcular iris implanted in her left eye to achieve the appearance of heterochromia, a condition that causes one's eyes to be different colors. She denied this fact but her father clarified that her natural eyes color is brown, providing her childhood photos. Journalists also pointed that her "blue" eye varies greatly on different photos and selfies, from blue-green dappled with brown, turquoise with a brown ring around the pupil, to solid aquamarine with a black ring at the perimeter.
  • She was featured in the music videos of the Mark Ronson song "Summer Breaking" and the Kevin Parker song "Daffodils.".
  • She has a sister named Zoe McDaniel. She is from Murrieta, California.
  • She developed her own swimsuit line through Frankie's Bikinis.

Quotes

  • [on her sister, who encouraged her to ignore social media] She was like 'just don't pay attention, it's not like your talent is all in your eyes. They're not what makes you yourself.
  • The longer breaks I take from social media the less and less I want to return.
