Dwayne M. Eggerson

Dwayne M. Eggerson, a native of Columbus, Ohio, discovered his passion for independent filmmaking through the guidance of TJ Cooley, a longtime friend and mentor from his days at Ohio Media School. His journey into the industry began with a leading role in the acclaimed short film "Into The Night," showcased at the Mid Ohio Film Association's 3 Weeks Of Crime competition in 2013. Since then, Eggerson has garnered recognition for his acting prowess, earning the Best Actor Award at the 2016 Winter Film Competition and Best Supporting Actor at MOFA's 3 Weeks Of Horror Film Competition the same year.

Eggerson's recent projects demonstrate his versatility and commitment to the craft, including notable performances in the sci-fi audio series "Domesticated," the proof of concept short "Hypnopompia," and the gripping drama "Directions." His talent has not gone unnoticed, earning him a nomination for Best Supporting Actor at the 2024 Winter Film Competition, a nomination for Best Actor in the 2024 Fright Film Competition, and a win for Best Actor in the 2024 48 Hour Film Festival.
