TV Prize Kristallen nominated (2023) actor, producer and author Louie Marti is Swedish/Spanish with gypsy roots. He is currently based in Stockholm, Sweden.
Louie has a tough and colorful background as he was born and raised in a gypsy family that traveled between Sweden and Spain. In Sweden he lived in the poor suburbs of Stockholm among high-rise concrete buildings stacked closely together, and in Spain he thrived in the always traveling gypsy circus family (which included his proudly bank robbing grandmother, and a father who found his true calling and became a priest).
Louie was introduced to boxing at the tender age of 12, which was around the same time he started his first company having neighborhood kids running errands. Louie's natural acting skills combined with a huge dose of charm and resourcefulness, gave him the status as the local Robin Hood. His multicultural upbringing also awarded him with a multilingual tongue. This has been useful in many settings, including in his acting career.
