Biography

Ivan Ho Yue Ching is a Creative Manager cum Movie Screenwriter/Feature Director at J Team Productions and has worked with Singapore's most commercially successful director Jack Neo on the box office hit, Ah Boys To Men 3. The screenplay of the movie, co-written by Ivan, received the Best Screenplay Award at the 2015 21st Century Maritime Silk Road Movie Festival in Sanya, China.

Prior to Ah Boys To Men 3, he was also a 1st Assistant Director on The Lion Men and The Lion Men: Ultimate Showdown movies.

He first gained his media experience when he joined Singapore Broadcasting Corporation's (now Mediacorp) 3rd Professional Scriptwriting Course. After the course, he worked as an Assistant Producer in SBC for 3 years and subsequently freelanced for 15 years as a Screenwriter and Assistant Producer in Singapore and China. Striving to keep on improving his craft, Ivan signed up with Jack Neo's J Team Academy in 2014 and graduated from the training course with Best Director and Best Editor awards.

Ivan never ceases to put in his best in his creative endeavors and desires to be a major contributor to Singapore's movie and entertainment industry. His screenplays include 7 Letters-That Girl and Long Long Time Ago 1 & 2 (co-writer). He has also written scripts for Money No Enough radio drama and TV commercials.

Ivan makes his directorial debut with the 2017 Lunar New Year blockbuster Take 2 (Singapore Box office gross: S$1.43 Million), which he also co-wrote. He is also the writer for Ah Boys To Men 4 & 5 and the first Singapore action movie Island on Fire.
