Md Inteajer E Jahan Uday popularly known as "Uday Bangali" was born in Jamalpur, Bangladesh. While studying mass communication and journalism, he began working as an assistant to filmmaker Redoan Rony. In 2017, Uday's journey as a television dramatist began with the production of the fiction "Backspace". Kongkaboti, Boishakhi Hawa, Chaileo Pai Na are some of his notable fictions.
He has told stories of women, children and animal rights in short films like Where love based on hope, Fathomable and Proportional. Uday's films have been selected at various film festivals around the world, including the Lift-Off Global Film Festival in the UK and the Caribbean Film Festival in the US. In 2019, "Proportional" won "Best Short Film" by UN Women.
Lutfar Rahman George, Dilara Zaman, Armaan Parvez Murad, Sohel Arman, Aparna Ghosh, Irfan Sajjad, Urmila Srabanti Kar, Marzuk Russell, Chashi Alam, Sharmin Akhi, Uzzal Kabir Himu are among the performers in his productions.
Web Series, An Ordinary Slogan, and Bhasan have been unreleased yet from Uday Bangali. His Covid-19 based biographical documentary "The Last Man" has been officially selected for Africa Premiere at the 11th Zuma International Film Festival 2024 in Nigeria.
