Riccardo Cannella is an award-winning director, producer, and screenwriter, winner of 10 international awards as Best Director and 3 as Best Screenwriter, received at prestigious festivals in Los Angeles, Miami, Bilbao, Gießen, among others. With a career dedicated to digital seriality for cinema and the web, he founded the Sicily Web Fest, an internationally renowned festival that attracts professionals from all over the world to Sicily.

Among his most notable works are the artistic web series "A-Live" for Mercedes Benz and "Sicilian Rhapsody" for the promotion of Sicilian tourism. He directed his first feature film, U scrusciu du Mari, in 2022, and his second film, Jastimari, is set to release in 2024.
