‘I’m the Evil Lord of an Intergalactic Empire!’ Anime Reveals New Trailer, Confirms April Premiere and More Cast Info

The anime adaptation of Yomu Mishima’s light novel I’m the Evil Lord of an Intergalactic Empire! will premiere on April 5, airing at 2:00 a.m. (April 6) as part of Japan’s “Animazing” block. The series is based on the light novel, which has already been published in English by Seven Seas.

Along with the debut, new cast members have been revealed. Shinichirō Miki will voice Yasushi, a sword teacher to the main character. Yōji Ueda takes on the role of Brian Beaumont, a long-time servant to the Banfield family. Tetsu Inada will voice Goaz, a space pirate leader.

The opening theme will be performed by the idol group Saishū Mirai Shōjo, while the ending theme will be sung by Nagi Fujisaki.

The cast includes several notable names. Natsuki Hanae voices the main character, Liam, and Reina Ueda voices Amagi. Takehito Koyasu and Ayana Taketatsu also star as Guide and Nias Carlin,...

A fresh look at I’m the Evil Lord of an Intergalactic Empire! has just arrived. The anime, based on the light novel by Yomu Mishima and Nadare Takamine, is set to premiere this April, and the latest trailer gives us a glimpse of the cast and more action-packed scenes from the series.

Leading the voice cast, we have Natsuki Hanae as Liam, with Kaori Maeda voicing Young Liam. Joining them are Reina Ueda as Amagi, Ayana Taketatsu as Nias, Mikako Komatsu as Tia, and Takehito Koyasu as Guide.

Tetsuya Yanagisawa, known for his work on Berserk of Gluttony, is directing the anime. An official website and X (formerly Twitter) account opened today announced that a TV anime adaptation of the I'm the Evil Lord of an Intergalactic Empire! isekai sci-fi series is in the works for an April 2025 broadcast. A teaser trailer and visual were also unveiled, along with main cast and staff details. As previewed below, the series stars Natsuki Hanae (Okarun in Dan Da Dan ) as Liam, Reina Ueda (Reze in Chainsaw Man ) as Amagi and Takehito Koyasu (Roswaal in Re:zero -Starting Life in Another World- ) as Guide. Amagi raises over 100 mn from General Atlantic, now valued at 1.4 bn

Bengaluru, Nov 10 (Ians) Media technology company Amagi on Thursday announced it has raised over 100 million, including 80 million in primary capital, from global growth equity firm General Atlantic.

The investment brings Amagi’s valuation to 1.4 billion, representing an increase from the 1 billion valuation the company reached in March this year with a 95 million investment from Accel, Norwest Venture Partners and Avataar Ventures.

“We have set ourselves the ambitious goal of developing futuristic technology solutions that can help media companies deliver premium personalized content and engaging advertising experiences to their consumers,” said Baskar Subramanian, Co-founder and CEO of Amagi.

Amagi crossed the 100 million Arr threshold after a record second quarter (July-September).

It offers a full suite of solutions for the creation, distribution, and monetization of live, linear, and on-demand channels across cable, Ott, and CTV-led free ad-supported streaming TV (Fast) platforms globally.
