Onur Ozmen

He started his music studies with Mustafa Apaydin, then continued with Sureyya Caglar and Yigit Aydin. In 1998, he became a student at Hacettepe University Ankara State Conservatory Composition Department, where Burhan Onder, Muammer Sun, Ilhan Baran, Turgay Erdener's compositions; piano by Yasemin Marlali; conducting Ibrahim Yazici and Ahter Destan; he became an orchestration student of Rengim Gokmen. He has studied 20th Century Music with Ertugrul Oguz Firat, Reinhard Febel, Sidika Ozdil, Peter Sheppard Skaerved, Nigel Clarke and Aaron Shorr, either privately or in various workshops. His works have been performed by national orchestras, Turkish and foreign chamber music ensembles and musicians in Turkey and abroad, and he has also composed music for television, cinema and theater music. He is a lecturer at Hacettepe University Ankara State Conservatory Composition Department.
