Trick or Treat Studios has started accepting pre-orders for three new Leatherface action figures; 13 inch versions of the character Leatherface as he was seen in the films The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, Leatherface: Texas Chainsaw Massacre III, and the 2003 remake of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre! Some images of these action figures can be seen at the bottom of this article, and more can be found over at Trick or Treat Studios. Creepshow: From Script to Scream from Titan Books

Creepshow: From Script to Scream will serve as the official behind-the-scenes compendium on the Shudder series, exploring its origins, development, production, special effects, and more.

The 240-page coffee table book is written by Dennis L. Prince and features a foreword by Stephen King and an afterword by Metallica’s Kirk Hammett. Creepshow showrunner Greg Nicotero serves as executive producer.

From director and writer Josh Hasty, the new Fall season slasher flick Candy Corn makes for a fun Halloween treat. Set on the October holiday and featuring several familiar faces from popular slasher movies from the past, the movie is clearly a love letter to some of our favorites from the genre dating back to the '70s and '80s. At a time when the horror genre is filled with nonstop reboots, prequels, sequels, and re-imaginings, it's always great when an entertaining original movie enters the scene, and that certainly applies to the fun popcorn flick that is Candy Corn.

Like every truly great slasher movie, the plot for Candy Corn is fairly simplistic, focusing on a paranormal murderer seeking vengeance on a small town on Halloween night. It follows social outcast Jacob Adkins, who has been made the target of a group of bullies for some good old-fashioned hazing.

After taking viewers behind-the-scenes of Rob Zombie's 31 in the extensive documentary In Hell Everybody Loves Popcorn: The Making of 31, filmmaker Josh Hasty returns behind the camera for his own feature film Candy Corn. Featuring an all-star horror cast that includes Courtney Gains, P.J. Soles, and Tony Todd, Candy Corn is now on Blu-ray and VOD from Dread, and we caught up with Hasty in our latest Q&a feature to discuss assembling his cast of horror icons, bottling the intoxicatingly nostalgic atmosphere of Halloween, and the insights he's learned from having Rob Zombie as a friend and mentor.

Director Josh Hasty, perhaps best known for his cult favorite In Hell Everybody Loves Popcorn, is back with a scary new Halloween thriller that is sure to be a big hit with horror fans this fall. This creepy spookshow spectacular is coming to select theaters this September, and today with have a first look at the terrifying madness hidden within. Epic Pictures has given us the trailer, poster and a number of images. Along for the ride are Candyman himself, Tony Todd and a number of other horror icons.

We've received word that Candy Corn, from Josh Hasty, has been picked up by Epic Pictures and will be distributed through their Dread label. A fall theatrical release is planned for the Us, while the movie is being taken to Cannes next week to seek international distribution.
