Michael Colan is an American writer/filmmaker born in Port Jefferson, New York. He moved to Swanton, Vermont at a young age and attended film school in Chicago. He is the creator and sole writer/editor of the film reviewing website The Exported Film. He is best known for his acting work in the short film Bitter Losses.
