Cheryl is a Mexican American Actress who was born in New Albany Indiana on April 19 1980 by the name of Cheryl Elizabeth Smith. Her mother is from Mexico and her father is from Indiana, he met her mother in Mexico, married her there and brought her to the states to live where Cheryl was to be born one year afterwards. Cheryl her mother and sister moved to Louisville KY after her parents got divorced at age 9. She then went to school in Kentucky. At age 12 Cheryl became interested in Acting and modeling. She started doing plays in a local church at first then in high school was in drama club at Presentation Academy and graduated in 1999. In 2004 she was discovered by a local Agency named Alix Adams where she began and continues to work through them to get acting and modeling jobs until they closed Feb 2016. She did print work for Kentucky Tourism and even for Sullivan University where she was attending college and graduated in 2010 with an associate in accounting. She also worked in advertising and training videos for places like Kroger, KFC and Riverlink. Recently in 2015 she has been also working with VSM Entertainment where she has been landing extra work in movie and film. On her own she landed lead role in 2015 in Reaper of the Soul. And in 2016 lead role Esther a girl dealing with her grandma in a short film about Alzheimer's. She is hoping to land more lead roles soon and in the future. So stay tuned. During all this she also had two sons one was born on February 23 2001 his name his Alejandro Manuel Smith and the other was born January 12th 2006 his name Is Sebastian Xavier Berry. In 2015 she moved and resides back in southern Indiana where she lives with her current husband Bruno Abrao.
