Alex Dauphin was raised in Pasadena, California. She graduated with degrees in African-American studies and Politics from Princeton University. After finishing university, she began acting in theatre with roles in Seize The King at the Alliance Theatre, A Christmas Carol at TheatreSquared and Othello at Invictus Theatre to name a few. Alex has gone on to act on-screen as well, making her television debut in Chicago Med (2015).
In 2018, she began teaching at Black Box acting studio, where she had graduated from the most intensive training program, "The Academy," and completed the Teacher Training Program.
