Dempsey co-wrote the original script for the horror feature "Spaghetti". Released to Amazon Prime and Apple TV in the fall of 2023 the movie won 30 plus film festival awards including one at the Cannes World Film Festival!
Based in Los Angeles CA, Dempsey is prolific in all genres of film and television writing favoring comedy and psychological thriller.
The comedy series Dempsey created and wrote, "Inherent Problems", was his first LA success story. The show was optioned in June of 2021, just 8 months after his arrival in California, and was the jump off point for many other projects.
In 2023, 2024 and 2025 Dempsey served on the judges panel for Film FreeWays "Ladies in Filmmaking" contest.
Dempsey has been interviewed by industry professional Jen Grisanti for her YouTube Channel as well as Sundance Film Festival winning director Diane Bell's Instagram audience.
