With a background in communication, Anda Ionescu has been working with film production and cultural management in Romania and Denmark in the past ten years. She is currently an owner, managing partner and producer in Bucharest-based Tangaj Production.
Anda produced and released feature, documentary and short films, one of the most recent titles being "TWST / Things We Said Today", by Andrei Ujica, part of the Official Selection - Out of Competition of the 81st Venice International Film Festival, for which she acted as executive producer. She also produced Andra Tarara's debut documentary "Us Against Us" and Bogdan Theodor Olteanu's second feature "Mia Misses Her Revenge". Her filmography includes Andrei Dascalescu's third feature documentary "Holy Father", produced through Filmlab in co-production with HBO Europe, and Ruxandra Ghitescu's "Otto The Barbarian" debut feature - a Romanian-Belgian co-production - where she acted as delegate producer, as part of a long-term collaboration with Alien Film.
Anda is an EAVE (European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs) Producers Workshop, Ties That Bind and EAVE+ alumna, as well as a graduate of Emerging Producers and Berlinale Talents. She is also a member of European Women's Audiovisual Network (EWA), European Producers Club (EPC) and Documentary Association of Europe (DAE).
