Taylor Sky(II)

Taylor is 19 years old and training at the prestigious Wilkes Academy of Performing Arts, Swindon after she secured herself 2 full scholarships for exceptional talent and a bursary from the Princes Trust. Taylor has always loved to perform and originally was an elite gymnast. She is determined, ambitious and has a contagious personality and has been described as one of the most versatile performers Wilkes has at the Academy. She has always received wonderful feedback from anyone she has worked with. She has just secured her place on her BA Hons in Musical Theatre at Wilkes starting in September. At the age of 15, Taylor auditioned for 7 top conservatories in the UK with the support of her school and was offered a place at each one together with scholarships. With 3 - 4,000 auditions a year only 1% secure places and 1% of those secure scholarships. This year she auditioned again for her degree and again secured places at Mountview, Arts Ed and Italia Conti. However, she chose to stay at Wilkes and do her degree as she felt that the other Conservatories, although amazing did not have the edge Wilkes can offer her. She works with some top dancers, acting and singing teachers in the world on a day-to-day basis and amazing guest teachers. The Academy has established itself for its original and innovative performances which make them stand out above all the other Academies in the UK.
