Art Newkirk is a North Carolina native of Dutch decent. Soon after leaving the Navy he did stunts on his first film. Since then Art has worked with such notable actors as Adam Driver, Michael Shannon, Reese Witherspoon, Chris Pratt, Scarlett Johansson, Woody Harrelson, Kiefer Sutherland and Channing Tatum to name a few.
He played a living statue in Francis Ford Coppola's, "Megalopolis" and also worked on Clint Eastwood's latest film, "Juror #2" where he played the father of Clint's real daughter, Francesca Eastwood. Coming up for Art is the movie, "Golden" where he plays a Sheriff in the Pherell Williams music bio-pic where he has scenes with Oscar winner Joy DeVine Rudolph and the movie, "Bride Hard" with Rebel Wilson where he played Demetri, a waiter/mercenary.
Art is a musician and enjoys singing and music along with spending time with his family.
His son Logan Newkirk and daughter Luciana Newkirk are also actors.
