The Telugu romantic comedy film Manamey, which features Sharwanand and Krithi Shetty in the lead roles, hit the theatres on 7th June 2024. The film, directed by Sriram Adittya, opened to mixed reviews, but the work of the leading stars was appreciated by the masses.

The movie was later made available on Amazon Prime Video in its original Telugu version and has drawn a positive audience from the Ott audience. Earlier, Tamil-speaking viewers were eagerly waiting for the dubbed version. That wait is now over! As of today, the Tamil-dubbed version of Manamey has officially started streaming.

Manamey starring Sharwanand and Krithi Shetty is finally making its way to Ott after a long wait. The film is directed by Sriram Adittya. It was released in theaters on June 7, 2024. Movie received mixed reviews and performed moderately at the box office. After months of speculation makers have officially confirmed its digital streaming date.

Sharwanand’s comeback film was expected to be a major success but it managed to collect only ₹21.85 crore during its theatrical run. The film, produced under the Mythri Movie Makers banner features music by Hesham Abdul Wahab. It was primarily shot in London with some portions filmed in Hyderabad and Bangkok. Although fans eagerly waited for its digital release, multiple delays kept them in suspense. Finally on the occasion of Sharwanand’s birthday, the Ott premiere was confirmed.

Sharwanand’s heartwarming family drama Manamey continues its run at the box office, albeit with a slight dip on its second Tuesday. Read on!

Directed by Sriram Adittya, the film saw an occupancy of 16% on Day 12, translating to collections of 0.36 crore net in India. This brings the film’s total domestic net collection to 14.63 crore, with a gross collection of 17.26 crore.

Overseas markets have contributed an additional 2.10 crore, pushing the worldwide total of Manamey to 19.36 crore.

Sharwanand’s love story Manamey has secured a fair opening at the box office, collecting 11.5 crore nett in India during its first week. However, with a reported budget of 24 crore, the film requires continued audience support to achieve profitability. Read further to know how Manamey fared in its 2nd week so far!

While the second Friday saw a drop of 30.77% with collections of 0.45 crore, the film managed to bounce back over the weekend, grossing 0.75 crore on Saturday and 1 crore on Sunday. This weekend jump suggested positive word-of-mouth might be attracting audiences.

However, Monday collections saw another dip, raising concerns about the film’s ability to sustain its performance. With Manamey‘s overall 21% Telugu occupancy on Monday, it collected 0.57 crore, taking its 11 days net India total to 14.27 crore (16.77 crore Gross India total).

Mumbai, May 29 (Ians) Telugu actor Sharwanand, whose latest release is ‘Oke Oka Jeevitham’, met with a car accident on Sunday. However, he stated that he is “safe and sound” and called the accident “minor.”

He took to Twitter and wrote: “There has been news that my car met with an accident this morning. It was a very minor incident.”

The actor shared that there is nothing to “worry” about.

“I am absolutely safe and sound at home with all your love and blessings. There is nothing to worry about. Thank you all for your concern. Have a great Sunday everyone.”

Sharwanand made his acting debut in 2004 with the film ‘Aidho Tareekhu’. He also acted in Prasthanam, Engeyum Eppodhum, Run Raja Run and Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju, Express Raja, Sathamanam Bhavati and Mahanubhavudu.

On the work front, Sharwanand has teamed up with director Sriram Adittya for his upcoming yet-untitled project.
