Miruna Biléi was born in Hunedoara, a historic town in Transilvania, Romania, to parents Arabella, a shoes designer, and Florin, an IT specialist.
She studied piano, completing music school by age 14. She graduated from a Communication and Public Relations faculty, but eventually decided on acting which she studied at University Babes-Bolyai of Cluj-Napoca. She had participated in various theatre festivals and her roles occasionally included singing.
