Andre Boyd(I)

Andre LaShun Boyd was born in 1975 in Aurora,IL. Andre was always one to put on a show.Even at an early age. It wasn't until he reached East Aurora High School that he started pursuing an acting career. Under the tutelage of Arlene Hawks, Andre advanced his acting skills from beginning acting class to Honors as a sophomore which, at the time, was pretty much regulated to upperclassmen. He would also grow a deep passion for singing and would go under the name The Almighty Draysta. He then joined up and helped form the Hip Hop group Smokem Records and went on to open shows for groups such as Three 6 Mafia,and Twista to name a few. After losing a close friend in 2014, Andre decided to give up on music and return to acting. He enrolled in John Casablancas Modelling and Talent Agency and graduated as one of the most decorated students there. Since then, Andre has appeared in numerous shows such as Empire, Chicago P.D., and The Exorcist as well as an Ace Hardware Commercial and numerous student films. Turning his sights on helping others, Andre is now working behind the camera as president of Draysta Films and has won an award for his short films "A Special Jewel" and "The Stalking Axe Murderer." Andre is definitely one to keep an eye on.
