Bianca Melchior is a Canadian actor, dancer and singer on screen and stage. She landed her first role as mean queen Sonja Edwards in Aaron Martin's horror anthology series Slasher (Netflix), and has since gone on to appear in an array of projects that reflect her artistic range. Bianca portrays the competitive and dramatic Kelly opposite SNL's Cecily Strong in Schmigadoon! (Apple TV) created by Emmy Award winning Cinco Paul with choreography by Emmy Award winning Christopher Gattelli. She is featured on the silver screen in Jon M. Chu's Oscar, Golden Globe and BAFTA decorated feature film Wicked, and she plays the supernaturally gifted Freya in Heather Taylor's comedic short film Bring Out Your Dead opposite Workin' Moms star Juno Rinaldi. She dazzles alongside Ariana Grande in Swarovski's Party of Dreams and stars in Alexander Wesley's Anything music video directed by Kevin Lien, which was shortlisted for the 2023 Berlin Commercial Awards.
Growing up listening to her parents sing, write and play music together, Bianca developed a deep love for music. She has gone on to share her vocal talent in multiple mediums from singing with Canadian pop star Alessia Cara, to kicking it in Bend It Like Beckham The Musical (Bluma Appel Theatre) with direction by Madeline Paul and Gurinder Chadha.
Growing up, Bianca's first love was dancing. She showcases her multidisciplinary talent in Delacey's Too Poor to Live in LA music video which she both choreographed and starred in, melding her passion for acting and dancing. Bianca's professional dance credits include Nick Jonas, Lights and Conteur Dance Company of which she was the principal performer in the company's production re(ACT). She is extensively trained in contemporary, jazz, heels, jazz funk, acrobatics, hip hop, ballet and partnering. She amassed countless awards in her competitive career, culminating with her becoming the first contestant to win the title of Female Best Dancer at The Dance Awards in New York City.
