Gowthami Gowda is an Indian Actress who appears mainly in Kannada daily soaps, reality shows and films. She's a Computer Science Engineer by VTU & did her schooling & college in Bengaluru, Karnataka. She started her career as a TV host for Siti Cable a regional channel and moved on become a TV star through Mega Serials. Chi.Sou.Savitri made her a household name and bought fame. She moved on to play lead roles in other serials such as Tayavva, Cheluvi, Chelisuva Modagalu, Amma Ninagagi and more.
Along with her TV career, Gowthami stepped into the silver screen with the Movie Guru, where she played Sister-in-law to the Hero. Later she bagged supportive roles in films Male, Kotigobba2, Jessie, Ambi Ning Vayasayto etc. Gowthami is seen in lead roles in the films Mathu Kathe & The Plan.
Additionally, the actress has been a reality star. She participated in reality shows such as Kuniyonu Baara, Yariguntu Yarigilla, Bigg Boss Kannada Season 3, Super kabaddi and Dancing Star Season 3. She entered Bigg Boss House as a Wild Card Contestant along with Comedian Mitra and stayed in the House for 58 days.
In 2018, the actress married to her long time friend George Christy & lives in Malaysia. Her latest venture is Ambi Ning Vayasayto where she played Suhasini Maniratnam's daughter.
