Carol Rodrigues(IV)

Carol Rodrigues is a director and screenwriter whose work delves into race, gender, and class. In 2023, she directed her first feature film, "Sister-maids". Her award-winning short films, including "Their Happiness" (2019), "Doll and the Silence" (2015) and "Mother Doesn't Cry," co-directed and co-written with Vaneza Oliveira, all feature Black women as protagonists. As a writer, Carol has contributed to acclaimed series such as "Brainiacs" (Globoplay), "3%" (Netflix), and "Joint Venture" (HBO), earning a nomination for Screenwriter of the Year at the ABRA Awards in 2020. She has also served as a Creative Executive at Amazon Studios, overseeing projects like "Lov3" and the second season of "September Mornings". Carol's tutoring experience includes programs like Netflix's Second Act and Apan's Black Narratives LAB. She holds degrees in Audiovisual Studies from the University of São Paulo (USP) and in Social Sciences from the State University of Campinas (Unicamp).
