    • Mia Barrett is a professionally trained actor who has starred in internationally renowned independent feature and short films. Notably, Mia played a supporting role in Zane Borg's debut feature film 'The Library Boys', which will have its world premiere at the Austin Film Festival and is a nominee in the Comedy Vanguard. Additionally, Mia played the lead in Ellen Richardson's short film The Blue Ducks, which premiered at St Kilda Film Festival. Her portrayal of the lead character, Mallory, was nominated for best performance at FreshFlix film festival. Mia also starred in Lara Kose's short-film, 'Crush,' which went on to show at multiple film festivals such as Flickerfest and San Jose Film Festival. More recently, Mia played a supporting role in the third season of critically acclaimed and internationally supported web-series, Flunk. She was also on set acting as 'Carly' in Gabriel Currabba's feature film 'Sunflower', produced by Zane Borg's production company, Pancake Originals. Mia professionally trained at 16th Street Actors Studio in their Full Time Program. Here, she also undertook workshops with master teachers Elizabeth Kemp, Amy Morton and Audrey Francis. Additionally, she has trained further with teachers such as Lisa Robertson, Iain Sinclair, Anthony Brandon-Wong, Damian Walshe-Howling and Anna McCrossin-Owen. Mia is an incredibly passionate actor and creative. When she isn't acting, you can find Mia writing and working on her own projects.
