Lisa Hagen's feature script and play, "Dancing on the Elephant," is in production once again after the passing of lead Olympia Dukakis. It is on stages across the country. Her co-written feature, "Fortune Defies Death" has been picked up for international distribution. A limited, fantasy-comedy-historical television series, "Badass Womyn of Herstory," is in development. She is an award winning writer for film, documentaries and stage. She won the inaugural Global Literati Award for screenplays promoting women in film, as well as being featured in the industry magazine Inktip. A comedy writer at heart, she has also successfully written for drama, sci-fi and bio-pics with an emphasis on female-centric stories.
