Biography

    • Prabhakar Prasad was born in a small town in Bihar, India. Although he participated in school plays and Sanskrit singing choirs, his talent in math and science led him to become a software engineer. One day, he skipped his IT job to audition for a pageant, won, and began his modeling career. Wanting to be with his high school sweetheart, who had moved to the US for her master's degree, he moved to Dallas, TX, to pursue an MBA. After graduating, he joined corporate America and enjoyed a fast-paced career similar to the wolf of wall street.

In 2015, he had a near-death experience (a heart attack) which made him question the meaning of life, death, and purpose. He asked himself, "What do you want to do with your new life?" The answer was "acting," and he moved to Los Angeles.

He spent the next four years training aggressively with the best acting coaches in the industry, including Aaron Speiser, Shannon Sturges, Kathlyn Adams, Lesly Kahn, Margie Haber, and Joel Gold (speech, accent), as well as UCB improv. During the pandemic years, he reconnected with his roots and studied the ancient wisdom of the Vedas and self-realized masters about mind, body, and Self.

He is currently writing "Modern Seinfeld" and a book called "Journey to the Self."
