Who Is Vanessa in Netflix’s ‘Kill ‘Em All 2’?
Image
On Christmas day, Netflix gifted action movie lovers the latest revenge tale, Kill 'em All 2, starring Jean-Claude Van Damme. Despite turning 65 this year, The Muscles from Brussels still has the balletic grace and acrobatic maneuvering fans have come to know and love since the 1980s. The story continues seven years after the 2017 action thriller Kill 'em All left off, pitting Jcvd's Philip against a ruthless Franco-Russian terrorist hell-bent on revenge.

Kill 'em All 2 introduces new characters not in the original, including a mysterious figure named Vanessa (Jaqueline Fernandez). While drips and drabs of background info come to light in the film, it's easy to miss how she relates to the main plot. As such, it's time to highlight Vanessa in Kill 'em All 2 and discuss who she is, her role, and how her relationship with Philip (Jcvd) informs the story.

The movie also stars Jacqueline Fernandez as Vanessa, Peter Stormare as CIA Agent Holman, and María Conchita Alonso as FBI Agent Sanders.

Image
Action movie fans now know what Netflix is getting them for Christmas, as the latest movie from martial arts icon Jean-Claude Van Damme is now all set to land on the streaming platform on December 25, 2024. Van Damme, who is, of course, best known for the likes of such action movie fare as Kickboxer, Bloodsport, Street Fighter, Universal Solider, and many more, leads the sequel Kill 'Em All 2, which finds the “Muscles from Brussels” as a spy who must face off with a terrorist who has come seeking revenge.

As per a report by What’s on Netflix, Kill ‘Em All 2 “will stream on Netflix in the United States as part of the Sony Pictures first window deal for 18 months," landing on the platform just in time to make the perfect festive family viewing. Picking up seven years after the first Kill ‘Em All, which was released back in...

‘Kill ‘Em All 2’ VOD Review
Image
Stars: Jean-Claude Van Damme, Jacqueline Fernandez, Andrei Lenart, Peter Stormare, Maria Conchita Alonso, Talia Asseraf | Written by Jim Agnew | Directed by Valeri Milev

Kill ‘Em All 2 picks up seven years after the events of the original, which makes sense since there’s seven years between the films, with Phillip reconnected with his daughter Vanessa and the two of them hiding out in southern Italy.

They obviously didn’t do a good job of it, as within the film’s first few minutes they’re attacked by goons working for Vlad Petrovic who is out to avenge the death of his brother Dimitri who was killed in the first film. This puts them on the run, trying to stay alive long enough to deal with Vlad and his crew, and the only way to do that is to kill ’em all.

I haven’t seen the original, and to be honest...

Jean-Claude Van Damme is Back in 'Kill 'Em All 2' Action Sequel Trailer
Image
"We'll be ready to finish this." Sony Pictures Home Ent. has revealed an official trailer for an action sequel called Kill 'Em All 2 with Jcvd. Did anyone want this? Has anyone been waiting for this? The original Kill 'Em All first opened in 2017 directed by Peter Malota, though I can't remember anything about it. Who saw it? This sequel is being dumped direct-to-video next week. Philip and Suzanne, now agents partnered by the CIA, head to Europe on a new assignment. Jean-Claude Van Damme return as Philip, though Autumn Reeser as Suzanne from the first movie has been replaced by Jacqueline Fernandez as a character named Vanessa instead. The cast also includes Peter Stormare, Maria Conchita Alonso, Andrei Lenart, and Talia Asseraf. On the run, outnumbered, and fighting for their lives, this father and daughter unite to save themselves and the village that Phillip once called home. This looks absolutely terrible,...

Seven years later, Kill ‘Em All is getting a sequel, appropriately titled Kill ‘Em All 2, which is set to receive a digital release next Tuesday, September 24th. Official Trailer for Action Film 'Paradox Effect' with Keitel & Kurylenko
Image
"We're in this together now." Gravitas has revealed an official trailer for a movie called Paradox Effect, made by filmmaker Scott Weintrob. Despite that title sounding possibly sci-fi, this isn't really a sci-fi movie, just another one of these generic action thrillers about criminals and cops and drug dealers and all the usual stuff. It's set to arrive on VOD to watch this September in the fall. An ex junkie witnesses a murder. She is forced to cooperate with the killer to save her daughter's life. She must fight time, the police and criminal underworld to save the only person who means something to her. The mastermind behind it all is crime lord Silvio and his vicious gangsters who forces Karina and Covek, a deadly killer threatened by him, to go on a journey against time. With Harvey Keitel, Olga Kurylenko, Oliver Trevena, Alice Astons, Meredith Mickelson, Talia Asseraf, Andrea Garofalo,...
