Sandra Scragg

Born in South Africa and having traveled the world with her diplomat parents, Sandra settled in the Pacific Northwest where she is happily married with two children and their beloved golden retriever. She holds a Hotel Management diploma from a Swiss hotel school and a BA degree in modern languages specializing in French literature. She speaks seven languages. Sandra started out on stage at the age of 6 years old and she continued to act well through her formative years. After a rewarding career of running the hotel operations of a 5-star luxury cruise line, she retired to stay home with her children. Sandra took up teaching drama and became an award-winning competition theatre coach; it was during this time that she fell in love with casting. Sandra then started out in film and is now an award-winning actor with over 25 films, commercials, industrials and TV/new media projects under her belt. Sandra has opened her own casting business and delights in helping up-and-coming filmmakers bring their projects to the next level. Directing was the natural segue and having the opportunity to direct Dark Landings - the Short - was a complete gift! With her background in directing children's theatre for almost 2 decades and directing auditioning actors in her casting studio, coupled with the amazing cast and crew put together for Dark Landings, Sandra felt confident in making this film her directorial debut - and she had an absolute blast! Now an award-winning director, Sandra did not have to think twice when given the opportunity to produce and direct The Mythos Murders. Gathering her talented production team and working her magic with casting, she feels that we have another winner on our hands and we are excited to introduce it to the world!
