Biography

    • Award-winning actress and director, Carly Fawcett, has been acting and making films since she could figure out what her dad's Hitachi video camera was capable of at age 4.

She has since then mastered the craft, diving deep in modern realism acting methods, and graduating from the Neighborhood Playhouse school of Theatre (N.Y.C.), where she studied the Meisner technique. She has worked on sets and stages in Vancouver, New York City, Montreal, Toronto and Kelowna.

Theatre credits include the multi-Dora-winning Canadian premiere of "Jerusalem," at Streetcar Crowsnest Theatre in Toronto.

Her self-produced and written projects include a one-woman show entitled "Rock Bottom," a Fringe sell-out that took "Pick of the Fringe," 2021 and "Hitch-hiked," winning her best director at O.W.T.F.F., 2021. She took home best actress for her lead in the indie drama, "Only People," (winner best feature at the Canadian Independent Film Festival, 2019). Her recent short Mockumentary "Dad Bod Dale" which she co-created has taken home 5 wins and 6 nominations including best female director.
