Louis Tikaram
Louis Tikaram is a highly celebrated Australian chef known for his innovative approach to Asian cuisine, deeply rooted in his Fijian-Chinese heritage and refined by experience in some of the world's top kitchens. Louis was born and raised on a 110-acre farm in Mullumbimby, on the north coast of New South Wales, Australia. This upbringing instilled in him a strong connection to fresh produce and the land. His culinary journey began at an early age, cooking alongside his Fijian-Chinese grandmother, which developed his appreciation for his family's culture and cuisine. He also spent time living in Fiji as a pre-teen, deepening this connection. His diverse heritage also includes Indian, Irish, and Scottish influences, which he jokingly refers to as making him a "fruit salad."
