Studied at Westminster Choir College and is a classically trained opera singer with a bass voice.

On 10s Across the Board (2018), she made a dress decorated with kitchen sponges for the first runway challenge, which became a running joke throughout the rest of the series and inspired several Internet memes amongst fans online.

Bertin performs as a drag queen using the name, Monet X Change. He chose the name after looking across the street at a currency exchange booth. He took the word 'money' and changed it to 'monet' and played on the word exchange for the surname.

Spent a portion of his childhood living in the Caribbean island nation of St. Lucia, where his mother originates from.

Was one of the Inspirations for Sina Grace's drawings for the character of Shade, Marvel's first drag queen superhero.
